Paul does many different jobs at Claremont. He does lots of finance stuff (fundraising, budgeting, accounting, book keeping, payroll and taxes) as well as handling all legal matters. He manages all Claremont building issues such as maintenance, renovations and tenancies. He is one of the psychotherapists at Claremont and sees a number of clients on a regular one-to-one basis each week. He also sometimes has initial assessment meetings with those who are interested in becoming clients with the psychotherapy one-to-one services. He is responsible for all staff and performance matters, for the overall quality of services provided, and for the development of Claremont’s vision. Finally, he is responsible to the Board of Trustees and attends and reports to regular meetings with the trustees, as well as with the trustees and/or staff of other charities and organizations supporting Claremont, such as the Claremont United Reformed Church, The Big Lottery Fund, Bridge House Trust, Cripplegate Foundation and the Charity Commission.

Louise is responsible for the operation and development of all Claremont's classes, activites and projects, especially those for isolated older people. Louise is incredibly busy but is always very pleased to see Claremont members and to talk to those interested in Claremont's exciting range of services.

 

Clincial Management & Outreach Manager (Job share):

Margaret Headland (Psychotherapy) & Megan Tjasink (Arts Therapies)

Margaret and Megan are responsible for the management of our formal psychotherapies, as well as our outreach work, especially to isolated older people. Margaret manages referrals, client assessments and the day to day operation of our psychotherapy service (one-to-one sessions and groups). Megan is an HPC state registered art psychotherapist and manages the various therapy groups (art psychotherapy, movement therapy, drama therapy, music therapy) as well as the one-to-one art psychotherapy service.

Michelle signs up new members, manages hall bookings, produces all the facts and figures we need to see how well we are performing, gets crucial tea, coffee and biscuit supplies for the centre, and she also does all the invoicing, cash collection accounting and attendance database maintenance.

 

Receptionist (volunteer): Maxine Hemmings

Maxine is our 5 day-a-week volunteer receptionist and meets and greets everyone visiting Claremont! She's on hand to help out with everything from membership enquiries to helping set up for performances and workshops. We are most grateful for her services.
