Please note that we do our best to keep this calendar up-to-date but with so much going on at Claremont, we occasionally drop the ball. It’s unlikely for example that we’ll be quick enough to change the timetable if a tutor cancels at short notice. If you want to be certain about a class running, please call us! Tel: 020 7837 3402. Please also note that tickets bought online for our classes are non-refundable, for that day/class class only, and cannot be used for a different day or carried forward to another class!

The Postal Museum is an award-winning, Accredited, and independent museum in London.
This visit includes:
• A ride on the Mail Rail and tour of the Mail Rail Gallery: Discover the stories about the staff who built, operated and maintained the underground railway over the course of 100 years, from its construction in the early 1900s, through the heyday of the middle century, to the eventual closure in 2003.
• A Newspaper/Zine-making Creative Workshop: Explore how you feel about the area you live. We will collage maps, newspapers, and images from The Postal Museum’s collections to build a visual guide to your postcode. Your reflective piece will make up a page in your group’s final published zine that everyone will be able to take away with them.
• The Postal Museum’s Exhibition Tour: You can find everything from vehicles, uniforms, pillar boxes and stamps to a 100-year-old postal railway and incredible stories of innovation, engineering, design and social history.
