Sergio Strizzi: The Perfect Moment

Please note that we do our best to keep this calendar up-to-date but with so much going on at Claremont, we occasionally drop the ball. It’s unlikely for example that we’ll be quick enough to change the timetable if a tutor cancels at short notice. If you want to be certain about a class running, please call us! Tel: 020 7837 3402. Please also note that tickets bought online for our classes are non-refundable, for that day/class class only, and cannot be used for a different day or carried forward to another class!

June 25, 2024 - 11:00 am

About the event

A Cinematic Photography Exhibition.

Sergio Strizzi (1931–2004) is considered one of cinematic still photography’s greatest talents. He worked with Italy’s top film directors, including Antonioni and De Sica, as well as internationally-renowned figures such as John Huston and Peter Greenaway, and worked as a photographer on the sets of several James Bond films.

This show, which includes some 70 colour and black and white images, chronicles Strizzi’s career and provides insights into a fascinating period in both Italian and international cinematic history.

For this private tour exclusively for Claremonteers, Maria Gomez Diez (Learning Officer at Estorick Collection) will greet attendees and also provide an introductory tour to Estrick’s permanent collection.
