Please note that we do our best to keep this calendar up-to-date but with so much going on at Claremont, we occasionally drop the ball. It’s unlikely for example that we’ll be quick enough to change the timetable if a tutor cancels at short notice. If you want to be certain about a class running, please call us! Tel: 020 7837 3402. Strength & Balance (Fall & Osteoporosis Prevention)
About the event
The original Monday class will now take place on a Tuesday afternoon.
Please note that this class will involve floor work.
Should this not be for you then you may prefer to try the Wednesday 10am – 11am class instead.
This class is led by fitness specialist Augusto Pardo and is carefully designed to improve overall strength, posture, and balance. It also focuses on fall prevention and is very beneficial for people diagnosed from osteoporosis. It is individually tailored to each participant. Like the other fitness classes, if you are attending a class for the first time, the tutor will ask you to fill in a health form asking about your specific needs and any health issues you might have (all tutors are very experienced at adapting movements to different abilities and requirements). Please note that this class involves some floor work.
Please note that Strength and Balance, has a maximum capacity of 10 people ONLY, this will be on a first come first serve basis, so please make sure you are on time or early as we will not make an exception.
The session is £4
Tickets/ bookings will not be available for purchase on our website, all In-Centre sessions must be paid for in the Claremont building.
