Ukulele (Intermediate)

Please note that we do our best to keep this calendar up-to-date but with so much going on at Claremont, we occasionally drop the ball. It’s unlikely for example that we’ll be quick enough to change the timetable if a tutor cancels at short notice. If you want to be certain about a class running, please call us! Tel: 020 7837 3402. Please also note that tickets bought online for our classes are non-refundable, for that day/class class only, and cannot be used for a different day or carried forward to another class!

Ukulele (Intermediate)

February 22, 2024 - 3:45 pm

About the event

Teacher: Tim Flitcroft

Things to bring with you: Please bring your own ukulele. We currently have a very limited number to hire from Claremont, available on a first come, first served basis. There is a £5 deposit required, which is returned upon receipt of the instrument, which must be returned immediately following each session.

Summary: This intermediate Ukulele class covers a classic but varied selection of pieces each week. There is a mixture of communal sing/play-a-long and learning of new skills and material. There is some focus on the fundamental technique required and repertoire is repeated for many weeks at a time, gradually increasing.

If you’re a Beginner, you can learn how to play the ukulele from scratch in our Beginners Ukulele 12 week course, offered periodically according to demand.

Our relaxed Ukulele classes are led by an experienced teacher Tim who cares deeply about the subject, adjusting his teaching accordingly to suit the group. These sessions suit those who want to have fun whilst learning and playing the Ukulele in a supportive group setting.

Please bring your own Ukulele.
