Please note that we do our best to keep this calendar up-to-date but with so much going on at Claremont, we occasionally drop the ball. Yoga summary: This chair-based class makes for an accessible take on traditional yoga. An ancient and spiritual practise, Yoga is proven to bring great health and wellbeing benefits. From physical fitness including increased flexibility, core strength, coordination, and balance, to mental health and wellbeing benefits including increased mindfulness, a sence of calm and being in the present moment. Claremont’s yoga classes include work on mats with a range of chair-based, floor-based, and standing movements. The knowledgeable Tutor Laura creates a sense of calm, relaxation, and focus. Advocating for safety and comfortability whilst providing optional, additional levels of challenge, Laura’s classes accommodate for all levels of ability.
