How to Join Claremont

How to Buy a Class/Event Ticket or Sign Up for Free to Something
To take part in our events, you need to be a Claremont member. Membership is free! Please see the box to the left about how to join.
Once you are a member, you can get tickets to our events, classes, and activities. For all the activities at the centre, you can buy tickets at the Reception desk, on the day or in advance. We take payment by card – no cash! Once you have your ticket, you take it along to the class and hand it to the person leading it. If you want to, you can buy a number of tickets at once, saving time at Reception.
For all of our online classes and groups, you can buy tickets right here on the website. You’ll see the option to buy tickets once you go to the events page for an activity on a particular day. We will also list special events at the centre here and these will have an allocation for buying tickets online, saving you the trouble of having to buy tickets at Claremont.
Buying a ticket (or reserving a ticket for free events) is simple. The following videos show you how to get your ticket. The first one shows you how to find activities – either from just scrolling down the main list on the left or by selecting a date on the right and seeing the activities for that day underneath:
You can also search by Category. For example, if you only wanted to see all the Art activities, you can select that from the right-hand side list of categories. See the short film below to see this:

Once you have bought a ticket once, and unless you deliberately log out, you won’t have to log in again to buy more tickets, as you can see in the next video:
If you are buying a ticket for an online/Zoom class, you have a choice of not only buying a ticket but also adding a small donation too, if you like!
- There is the event ticket price.
- There is a ticket plus donation option if you’d like to add one.
We keep prices as low as possible, so if you feel you can make a donation from time to time, please do. It helps us keep the show on the road for those who really can’t afford very much!
Once you have bought your ticket, you will be sent an email with a confirmation of your ticket. The email will include a link to the Zoom class. (The same link will show up about 15 minutes before the class on the event page for that class. It will be visible only to those with tickets and who have logged into the website.)
All that remains is to click on the Zoom link at the appointed hour and to enjoy the class! (Please note that the Zoom links change every week.)
If you ever want to check what tickets you’ve bought, you can do that from the Login/Account page. You can also change your login details if you like. The next video shows you what that looks like. It’s not very exciting:
